WHAT WE DO
CLIMATE AND ENERGY
We work to improve and protect human health and well-being by working to transform systems that both contribute to and are impacted by climate change and the energy crisis.
ENERGY EFFICIENCY ASSISTANCE PROGRAM
Low-to-moderate income programs are available to renters and homeowners. We help qualifying households access energy efficiency program benefits that allow them to save money and energy while reducing greenhouse gas emissions. To learn more, contact amanda@dwej.org.
Detroit Home Repair Project
We help qualifying households access weatherization and home repair programs to increase the value and comfort of their homes, health and wellbeing while decreasing hazards and energy costs. To learn more, contact awalker@dwej.org.
Note, the application period is currently closed.
Building Health
We convene an incubator to support peer-to-peer learning between contractors and other tradespeople as they learn how to improve the built environment towards the shared goal of reducing environmental health disparities, while adding a source of new revenue to one’s business portfolio. To learn more, contact info@dwej.org.
